Citroën separates DS and C line design departments

Citroën is reorganizing its design division in order to create a dedicated design department for its semi-premium DS line of models, led by Thierry Metroz. The new structure will come into effect on 1 June. Alexandre Malval, former head of styling for the DS5 and C5, will manage the mainstream C line.

Some General Motors vehicles to get Powermat cordless chargers

General Motors Co. says that Powermat USA will design cordless charging systems for use inside future GM vehicles. Also, the automaker's venture capital subsidiary, GM Ventures, will invest $5 million in the wireless charging technology startup to accelerate development and help the business expand globally.

In 1987, Mitsubishi initiated a range of concept cars called HSR (High Speed Research) with the intention of creating a futuristic vision for the brand combining advanced technology, efficient power and aerodynamic design.
