Google boss says Mercedes has ‘Magical Software’

Sat, 10 Sep 2011

Google's Vic Gundotra praises the Mercedes S-Class The common perception is that everyone at Google drives a Prius or an EV or has no interest in anything as last century as personal transport. Google has a fleet of eco-cars – plug-in Evs and range extenders – for employees’ use and runs a biodiesel shuttle for ‘Googlers’ to get to work. 2014 Range Rover & Range Rover Sport updates – includes 4.4 V8 Diesel for Range Rover Sport

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

The 2014 Range Rover gets a Black Design Pack (pictured) The new Range Rover has only been with us for five minutes (well, a year), but that’s not going to stop Land Rover from throwing in a few tweaks for 2014. Perhaps top of the list is the new model Range Rover – the Range Rover Hybrid - which is currently busy driving down the Silk Trail to India and promises the same sort of performance as the TDV8 but with economy that betters the 3.0 litre TDV6. The hybrid version of the Range Rover will also be joined by a hybrid version of the new Range Rover Sport, with 44.1mpg and emissions of 169g/km making the Range Rover and Sport a more appealing BIK option.

Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series gets a price. And it’s a big number starting with ’2′

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

Mercedes has come up with a price for the SLS AMG Black Series in Germany where it will cost a quite large €249,000. We always knew that the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series would become a reality, if for no other reason than not having a Black Series of the most potent AMG car in existence would be daft. But it took Mercedes until the Autumn of 2011 to actually confirm they were going to build the SLS Black, and until November 2012 to actually reveal the SLS Black as a hardcore version of the already fairly hardcore SLS.
