Happy Anniversary: delivery-mileage Lamborghini Countach for sale
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes a delivery mileage Lamborghini Countach that has been sat 'resting' in a storage facility since April 1990. And although it would be rather amusing to report the supercar had been discovered during an episode of Storage Wars, the reality is a little different. Tue, 31 May 2011Before the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, Team Hot Wheels yellow driver and three-time X Games gold medalist Tanner Foust broke the world record for distance jump in a four-wheeled vehicle. Foust dropped 10 stories down a life-size version of the iconic orange toy track and soared 332 feet through the air. Foust then unmasked himself--his identity had been a mystery up to that point, as shown in the teaser video we posted earlier this month.
Volkswagen to add compact four-door coupe to its lineup
Fri, 16 Mar 2012Volkswagen has hatched plans for a second four-door “coupe” model as part of a strategy to shore up its North American and Chinese market shares while providing a suitable addition to its European lineup. To be positioned underneath the recently facelifted CC, the new four-seater is set to form part of the Jetta lineup, joining successors to today's sedan and wagon models in an expanded three-model range. They're all set to hail from Volkswagen's Puebla plant in Mexico, the same site responsible for the newly launched second-generation Beetle.
