2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed moves dates for German Grand Prix
Sun, 16 Dec 2012The Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2013 has been rescheduled to avoid clashing with the 2013 German Grand Prix. The Goodwood Festival of Speed – and the ultimate test drives that is the Moving Motor Show – is perhaps the best event of its kind in the world. And one of the keys to its success is the ongoing attendance at the FoS by Formula One teams and their personnel.
SsangYong SIV-1 Concept heading for Geneva
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Another new SsangYong Concept – the SsangYong SIV-1 – is heading for Geneva 2013 to join the new Rodius debut. SsangYong are heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new version of the Rodius, which we’re hoping (although not with too much confidence) will be a big improvement on the very challenging looks of the current car. The hope that SsangYong will manage to deliver a Rodius that doesn’t frighten small children is boosted today with the first photos of a new concept from the Indian-owned Korean car maker – the SsangYong SIV-1 Concept (pictured above) – which will arrive at Geneva alongside the new Rodius.
Range Rover Sport 2014 Product Video arrives
Fri, 26 Apr 2013Just yesterday we had the first official confirmation from Land Rover of prices and specs for the new Range Rover Sport (although we actually published them some time ago) and Land Rover has now released a new product film of the RRS – a glorified video commercial, if you like. But unlike the RRS videos we had when the Sport first appeared, this video is much slicker and does manage to convey much better what the new Sport has on offer. From an opening showing design sketches of the new Sport, we get the Sport driving on a banked track, on deserted B-roads and off-road too.
