SEMA 2008 show report: Pontiac G8 and Solstice

Time to don your oxygen masks as we scale the dizzy heights of Pontiac’s performance peaks. While the standard GXP isn’t short of grunt with a 6.2-litre 415bhp V8 under the bonnet, the Street swings with a hefty 7.4-litre punch that’s good for 638bhp and 600lb ft of torque.

The Focus RS by Loder1899 We finally got round to doing a review of the Focus RS last week and came away deeply impressed. The thought of 300bhp through the front wheels seemed like a barking mad idea, but Ford had managed to pull off the seemingly impossible with the adoption of their clever RevoKnuckle system, which tames the torque steer if not completely eradicating it. Hyundai previews upcoming HND-9 concept

Hyundai has given us the first look at its latest concept car ahead of its debut at this month's Seoul motor show. The HND-9 concept, which previews the next-generation Genesis coupe, is the ninth concept from the carmaker's Namyang design center in Korea. Hyundai describes it as "a modern interpretation of a classic premium sports coupe" that displays the latest evolution of its fluidic future design language.
