For auction is the stock windshield removed from my ST1300A about 3 months after I bought it new. I replaced it with a Cee Bailey that was larger providing better wind protection in the cold weather. It is in very nice condition with the noted exceptions:
small cracks around one mounting bolt hole that do not show when mounted
a small BB size pit probably from a stone hit, that is very low in the view through the screen when mounted.

Sun, 05 Aug 2012The Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has developed a plug-in hybrid retro-fit system for cars. As hybrid cars show the world that we can get more miles to the gallon from fuel by adding in an electric motor to the mix (depending on just how that electricity is generated, of course), it was inevitable that aftermarket solutions would eventually surface. Now, the Department of Engineering Technology at the Middle Tennessee State University has popped up with what they claim is an after market plug-in hybrid system that can be added to just about any car and would cost – assuming it gets to market – around £2,000.
Alfa Romeo 4C finally on sale in 2013?
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It seems the Alfa Romeo 4C may finally arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and on sale soon after. First seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 – when we expected it to go on sale in 2012 – the 4C has been rolled out by Alfa Romeo a few times since – even complete with ‘teasers’ when all that had changed was the colour – to keep up interest in a car that holds much promise but didn’t seem to be heading anywhere. But now, according to Autocar, Alfa Romeo has confirmed that a production version of the Alfa 4C will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale – at least in Europe – later in the year.
