Porsche Macan production starts in December
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The Porsche Macan (pictured) starts production in December with a bolder look It does seem that the baby Cayenne – the new, Audi Q5 based Porsche Macan – has been on its way for a while, but Porsche has now confirmed production will start in December, with first Macans hitting Porsche showrooms in early 2014. But despite the Macan having been spied many times, seemingly almost undisguised, we really don’t know what it will look like. BAC Mono finally hits the U.S. (video)
Sat, 26 Jan 2013Sector 111 – US importers of the epic BAC Mono – have finally revealed the first US Mono at Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California. It’s more than a year since we reported that Sector 111 would be offering the BAC Mono in the US and now, having completely sold their 2012 allocation of just 12 Monos, the first US built (well, bolted together from a CKD kit by Sector 111) has been revealed to petrolheads at the Cars and Coffee meet in Irvine, California. And the Cars & Coffee meeting is a great place for Sector 111 to show off their first Mono as its attended by a bunch of knowledgeable and wealthy Californians, just the sort of potential buyer Sector 111 are looking for.

But Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin's insistence on the value of HS2 to the UK cut little ice with opponents of the high-speed rail scheme. On fuel duty, both the AA and the RAC pointed out that Mr Osborne was already getting big sums from motorists in taxation.
