FORGET supercars burning rubber around a circuit – a track-day organiser is now offering off-road driving experiences on Segways. Volunteers can take to a specially-designed rally course on one of the self-balancing upright scooters, after being given some basic instruction in how not to fall off. So the foundations had been laid to turn this very young chap into a proper petrolhead one day, but his interest remained relatively casual and moderate until that one fateful evening.
