Product Description
Produces a low deeper tone, without the loud noise. Will save your sled 5-7lb. and some applications gain 1-2 horsepower over stock silencers. 8.5 lb. lighter than stock mufflers. Uses the stock location exit. The under-hood heat reduction and sharp appearance is provided by the ceramic coating. Reduces weight by 8lbs.

Not to be outdone by Ford's F-150 announcements, Ram on Thursday disclosed a few additions to its lineup--including a heavy-duty Tradesman model, a new RamBox and an extension of model availability for the Express model. The Ram 1500 Tradesman, which is the basic workhorse of the lineup, will now be offered in heavy-duty trim with a towing capacity of 11,500 pounds. Payload also increases to 3,100 pounds.

This short video, featuring designer Oskar Zieta, details the process and design possibilities behind products developed with FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung – "free internal pressure forming") technology. Zieta, a Polish designer, explains how the lightweight yet robust metal appears as a soft object yet when you touch it you realize that it is actually a hard metal. "Working with FIDU technology is similar to carving clay," Zieta explains.

Volkswagen is going Freelander hunting with its new Golf-based Tiguan off-roader. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Motorshow this morning, Concept Tiguan gives a nine-tenths preview of what the production-ready Tiguan will look like when it arrives here in January 2008. It will initially arrive with a choice of front or all-wheel-drive, four engines – two petrol and two advanced ‘Clean TDI’ diesel units – and six-speed manual or DSG transmission.
