Strange PRF165 with OPRF05 upgrade - for a Ford 9inch style housing application in original shipping packages.  Check pictures for items involved in this auction.  This is a - "Ready to Install" - For drag racing only - lightweight Pro Aluminum third member or center section assembly with L/W steel racing spool for (35)spline axles and 4.11:1 ratio "Pro-gears" SAE9310 with (OPRF05) large stem pinion (35spl) and lighten ring gear - "Drag Racing only" - not for street use and chrome moly yoke for 1350 series "u- joint".  The Pro Aluminum Center Section Assembly is designed for weight reduction when its needed.  Possible applications:  include light-weight super comp dragsters, altereds, comp and door cars.  Label on transport case 01-06-16 - item was shipped direct from Strange Eng.

Infiniti, Red Bull considering performance cars - Ghosn

Infiniti and Red Bull could go into business together developing go-faster performance cars, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has confirmed to CAR. The new August 2011 issue of CAR Magazine has a four-page interview with Ghosn (click here for a free digital preview) and we asked him if we will see a Red Bull-fettled Infiniti sports car. 'Why not?,' he replied. 'I don’t think we can bank on it today, but when Nissan people and Red Bull people come together and ask what can we do better, what can we do more of, if something like this makes sense, then why not?

Chevy Malibu Eco hybrid is a tough sell

Most prospective Chevrolet Malibu buyers at Castle Chevrolet in suburban Chicago quickly decide that they don't want to pay nearly $3,000 more for the Eco mild-hybrid version. "For most people, it's hard to justify the extra money based on the extra fuel economy" of a combined 3 mpg more than the base model, says Jeff Tuckman, the dealership's inventory manager. "You've got the base LS model sitting next to it that's just as nice and luxurious." It's a problem flagged by many Chevy dealers.

THE ORIGINAL Mini, first introduced in 1959, is the best-ever British car, according to a survey of Autocar readers. The poll also named Norfolk-based Lotus as the most popular British manufacturer, with seven of its models making the 100 best British cars list. Following the Mini at the top of the list was the McLaren F1, with the Jaguar E-type third and the Range Rover fourth.
