Rebuilt and engine tested using original parts except for new gaskets, idle air adjust screws and springs, accelerator pump and fuel inlet valve from Stromberg England. Idles and runs great. Base painted black laquer and entire carb painted with clear coat laquer to prevent rust. A 1/8" hole over the float bowl (for Southwind heater) has been filled. Base gasket included.

General Motors adds center-mounted airbag to its large crossovers
Thu, 29 Sep 2011General Motors will equip the 2013 models of its large crossovers--the Chevrolet Traverse, the Buick Enclave and the GMC Acadia--with a center-mounted airbag that protects front-seat passengers in side impacts. The airbag, developed by GM and safety-system supplier Takata, is mounted on the inboard side of the driver's-seat backrest. GM says the airbag helps restrain and protect the driver in the event of a crash on the passenger side of the vehicle when the front passenger seat is empty.

Astons fall into the latter category (except for the DB9 Volante). This Vantage coupe with its DBR9 racing green paint job is hard to miss--not for being an over-the-top, outlandish-styled car like a Lambo, but because it's just so beautiful.

By spring of 2013, VW’s Klaus Bishoff was saying the Taigun would go in to production and not just for emerging markets but for the UK and Europe too.
