The Audi A1 e-Tron could be getting a Mazda Wankel Last year at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi showed us another in its seemingly endless line of fantasy e-Tron cars. But instead of being a pointless supercar with a pile of batteries bolted underneath to wreck the handling with all their weight – for the three feet you can actually drive with your foot to the floor before you run out of juice – this e-Tron was a different beast altogether. Not only was the Geneva 2010 e-Tron a properly sensible city car – the Audi A1 - but it came with a range extender so you could actually use this Audi A1 e-Tron beyond the confines of its electric charge.

Auctions America by RM enjoyed a successful debut in Las Vegas this past weekend, selling more than $4.1 million worth of vintage motorcycles, with an impressive 82 percent sell-through rate of all lots offered. The event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Jan. 12-14 had strong attendance, with thousands of enthusiasts gathering to see 490 motorcycles and a range of bike-related memorabilia cross the auction block.

The 2010 VW Final Edition revealed at the LA Amotor Show There is really only one place that holds a torch for the Volkswagen Beetle, and that’s the USA. So it’s entirely appropriate the VW chose the LA Motor Show to launch what will be the last version of the Beetle before an all new Beetle arrives in 2012.
