For goodness sakes, we’ve seen two concepts for it and had the head of Audi’s production plant in Belgium saying (wrongly, as it turned out) that production of the Audi A1 would start in October 2009. But that’s not going to stop Audi playing at ‘Tease’, so with production of the A1 now scheduled to start in early 2010 they’ve started to tease the new MINI-competing Audi.

Wed, 11 Sep 2013The five most important memorable cars in attendance at the world’s biggest motor show Nothing is as controversial as irritating your core enthusiasts, and the Audi Sport Quattro concept risks doing just that. Its name and styling riff off one of the most iconic cars in Audi’s back catalogue – and in WRC history – yet the new yellow version unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show has abandoned the five-cylinder engine, manual gearbox, and respectable kerbweight of the 2010 Quattro concept. In its place, we’ve an RS7-based coupe with the power of a Lamborghini Aventador (691bhp), twice the claimed economy of a Golf GTD (113mpg), but only because of a twin-turbo V8 mated to a hefty hybrid powertrain, and that means this new Sport Quattro weighs as much as a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1845kg).
Scuola Polytecnica Milan - Personal Car Project
Sun, 14 Mar 2004In summer last year ten students from the Master's course in Transportation Design at the Scuola Polytecnica Milan took part in a project for FIAT. The work developed from a briefing by the FIAT Advanced Design Centre, taking into consideration the dimensional and content restrictions. One of the concepts which stood out was that of Alessandro Battaglia working on the exterior design, and Alberto Burger, who developed the interior design.
