Product Description
STUD BOY announces the new SUPER-LITE Pro Series backer plate line-up. The SUPER-LITE Pro Series backer is designed for the rider who is looking for lightweight stud support that offers the lightest weight and best traction available and includes the support nut molded directly into the backer. These backers are made from engineered polymers, they are lighter than aluminum, while still maintaining excellent strength. SUPER-LITE Pro Series backers are available in both single and double configurations in black and white. The double backers are available in .500in. and .750in. heights while the singles are available in the .750in. height. The SUPER-LITE Pro Series double backer is used for standard tracks using a regular Power Point type carbide studs while the Pro Series single can be used with either standard or +Plus style studs on both single and double ply tracks. 48 pack

Henrik Fisker, co-founder of Fisker Automotive, has resigned from the company as Fisker seeks funding to move forward. But Henrik Fisker managed to convince the car world his Fisker Karma was credible, even if its gestation has been plagued by problems, the latest of which has been the demise of its battery supplier – A123 Systems – and the wrecking of a dock full of seemingly uninsured Karmas by Hurricane Sandy. The current problems at Fisker has seen them seeking a new investor, with two Chinese companies – Geely and Dohnfeng – vying to take a majority stake in Fisker Automotive and help Fisker recover sales of the Karma and move on with Project Nina, the smaller Fisker Atlantic.

Peugeot 2008 DKR (pictured) gets 340 bhp turbo diesel to fight the Dakar Rally
The days of Peugeot’s motorsport activities being integral to the brand’s identity are long gone, but Peugeot are still playing motorsports with a few headline grabbing projects like Sebastian Loeb’s Pikes Peak car. But Peugeot’s motorsport activities at the moment are extending a bit further than hitting Pikes Peak (and the Goodwood hillclimb) in a monstrous Peugeot 208 T16, and a 2008 to take on the Dakar Rally was revealed back in April. Then, we got to see the Peugeot 2008 DKR in all its Mad Max glory, but Peugeot were being a bit circumspect about what was underneath their Apocalypse-taming Rally Raid Monster.
