Webinars: Autodesk Visualization
Wed, 24 Oct 2012Autodesk's last Webinar in the recent four-part series, dubbed 'Visualization', is now available to view online for those who missed the live event. The Webinar's aim was to teach participants how its new visualization technology can enhance the design development process. It also showed how it helps to share designs with peers and looked at the different visualization technologies and where they fit into the process. Robin Oldroyd of Autodesk presented the Webinar and explained which tools are used at different stages of the design process. Oldroyd has strongly focused on Industrial design and visualization during his six-year stint at Autodesk, and has an in-depth of knowledge of solutions for creative design in Automotive, Transportation and consumer products.

The new model is a direct replacement for the 575M Maranello and represents the latest interpretation of a theme that has seen such classics as the 250 GT, the 275 GTB, and the 365 GTB4 (Daytona). According to Ferrari, the new car is a concentration of their most innovative and technologically advanced engineering solutions applied to a mid-front engined two-seater coup?.

Mon, 23 Jun 2008By Adam Towler Motor Industry 23 June 2008 19:01 VW Group’s Design Director Walter De Silva shed light on the future direction of Volkswagen design during a lecture earlier this week at the old Fiat Lingotto factory in Turin. Extolling his own thoughts on design amid the current world – “constraints are what promotes creativity” - he described VW as being immersed in a process of defining their design language as Audi had already done to achieve the quality and diversity necessary. Audi design DNA was “understood by everyone in the company” he said, “right down to the smallest details”.
