By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 24 April 2008 15:16 Audi has facelifted the A3 and while the tweaks can at best be described as mild, a new S3 Sportback has joined the line-up. The hot five-door runs the same 261bhp 2.0-litre TFSI engine found in the three-door S3, and of course the quattro four-wheel drive system is standard. The exterior cosmetic surgery brings the looks of the A3 Cabriolet to the rest of the range.

Quail motoring show is on for 2010

The Quail motorsports gathering that is part of the Monterey Historics/Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance weekend is alive and well, according to the event's organizers. They say that although the owners of the Quail Lodge closed the hotel portion of the resort on Nov. 16, the golf course and clubhouse remain open and will continue to run the Quail Motorcycle Gathering on May 8, 2010, and the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering.

Bugatti will continue to produce the world's fastest cars - and that's a promise by the new chief executive of Bugatti. Wolfgang Durheimer, who took over as combined boss of Bugatti and Bentley in spring 2011, told CAR that being the fastest was a cornerstone of the modern Bugatti philosophy. 'It is vital that Bugatti produces the world's fastest car,' Durheimer said.
