Studebaker Horn Button-car? Or Truck? on 2040-parts.com
College Springs, Iowa, United States
This is a Studebaker Horn button, I think off of a car, but I think it would fit on a C Cab pickup or truck also. It is not perfect but in very nice condition for its age. The chrome looks nice and the plastic coloring is very good. The back has a little rust, it could be taken apart and blasted or maybe soda blasted while it is together. The button does clearly say Studebaker on its front which does not show up too well in the picture. |

Ford posts best June sales performance in down market
Thu, 02 Jul 2009In a month of sandbagged auto sales, Ford was the clear winner. The Blue Oval posted a sales decline of “just” 10.7 percent in June, in a market that fell nearly 27.7 percent. It was by far the best showing of any major carmaker, helped by strong sales of its Fusion sedan and Escape crossover.
Petrol cars twice as likely to fail MOT on emissions
Thu, 07 Nov 2013The latest MOT test data shows that 26.2% of all cars tested fail on excess exhaust emissions – and surprisingly petrol cars fail more than twice as often as diesels in this part of the annual roadworthiness test. According to the official Vehicle Operator and Standard Agency (VOSA) figures, which cover all of 2010 and the first nine months of 2011, 9.7% of petrol cars failed to meet MOT emissions standards compared to just 3.9% of diesels. On Bing: see pictures of the MOT test Find out how much a used car with 12 months MOT costs on Auto Trader The analysis has been carried out by fuel additive “provider” Redex, which naturally has an interest in the findings, since its products are designed to breakdown engine deposits and improve efficiency.
GMs Henderson offers a ray of hope for Sky, Solstice
Mon, 11 May 2009There appears to be a slight glimmer of hope for fans of the Saturn Sky and the Pontiac Solstice. CEO Fritz Henderson said that General Motors would be willing to sell its Wilmington, Del., plant, which builds the Sky and the Solstice--two eye-catching performance cars--if a buyer specifically wanted those niche products, similar to what Chrysler offered with its Dodge Viper business.
