Hungarian Grand Prix (2010) RESULT
Mon, 02 Aug 2010Hungary F1 2010 Back to back with the German Grand Prix, the Hungarian Grand Prix looked like it would be a backward step for the McLarens, with Hamilton wringing the neck of his McLaren (the one Ron Dennis says he can’t complain about – but should) to get a poor grid position and Button languishing back in 11th after failing to even reach the final qualifying. The race didn’t get any better for McLaren either. They came to Hungary hoping the flexi-wing employed by Red Bull and Ferrari – which is said to be good for a second a lap – would be banned.
MG CS SUV Concept heading for Shanghai Motor Show
Thu, 11 Apr 2013MG are still struggling to make much of an impact on the car landscape, but one car that could change that is a funky urban crossover / SUV to give cars like the Nissan Juke a run for their money. That looked to be on the cards last year when MG turned up at the Beijing Motor Show with the MG Icon, an SUV.Crossover Concept that took the ‘Ugly but Cute’ style cues from the Juke but grafted on a nose that looked like it could have come from MG’s sports car past. The Icon was a decent effort – and even won an award for ‘Best Concept’ at Beijing from Autoweek – but it looks like MG has decided the design of the Icon was just a bit too radical, so they’ve toned it down with a new concept heading for this year’s Shanghai Motor Show – the MG CS Concept.
Ferrari Enzo replacement (F70) will get V12
Thu, 06 Oct 2011Ferrari F70 (New Enzo) to get V12 It seems to be taking forever for Ferrari to bring the replacement for the Enzo to the market. And that has meant endless speculation (guilty as charged) about what exactly the new Enzo will have to offer. As far back as 2009, we spoke to one of Ferrari’s ‘Favoured’ customers who, even then, had received the call from Maranello asking if he would like to be one of the lucky recipients of the new Enzo.
