Subaru Impreza WRX STi at Tokyo
Thu, 25 Oct 2007By Jonny Smith Motor Shows 25 October 2007 04:21 Hang on, I thought the Impreza had got even uglier? In non-WRX form it is a despicably hideous beast but this is the STi and it looks cooking. Ok so it's no longer a super saloon but a hyper five-door hatch, which means Subaru has jumped straight into the ring with VW (Golf), Audi (S3) and Ford (ST) and many others.
Saab's new 9-5 (2009) leaks early: the first photos
Thu, 23 Jul 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 23 July 2009 09:00 Breaking news: early shots of the new Saab 9-5 have leaked out early in Germany. These low-res photos of the new 9-5 were published online today – revealing an exec that trades on the style that has made Saab's greatest hits so distinctive. There's a hint of old 900 around the C-pillar, lending a dash of coupé style to what remains a defiantly four-door saloon to rival the Audi A6 and other execs. Note also how the side glass graphic slopes rearwards, in Saab's true cockpit style. The face of the new Saab 9-5 is distinguished by a much more dominant grille, with a pair of headlamps ringed with chrome (it works much better than on the current geriatric 9-5, don't worry!) and a prominent Saab name.
Kia 4-Door Concept heading to Frankfurt 2011
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Kia 4-Door Concept heading for Frankfurt 2011 It really is remarkable, the pace of change at Kia. Once the butt of as many jokes as Skoda at the height of their ‘Skip-on-Wheels’ era, Kia is now a real force. And a real force going very much upmarket, if the Kia 4-Door Concept heading for Frankfurt 2011 is anything to go by.
