( rear R160 )   This is a Mechanical, Non-clutch type LSD (nothing to wear out) They act like a helical. The more one wheel tries to turn faster than the other, the more torque that is applied to the wheel with the most traction.   These are a Extremely RARE factory option. Same LSD that is used by the Williams F1 car, and Renault BTCC cars !   This one is easily adapted to the Datsun 510. Just modify the Datsun R160 shafts. If you do not have a local machine shop who can do this simple procedure, I can do it for a fee, you just need to send your shafts.     This type of LSD does not cause your car to get squirrelly when the road is wet,
like the cheaper spring loaded clutch pack,
or the 'jam-a-block' 'Phony Grip' types. Why pay $250 for a "Phony Grip"?
