      Details

  • The intake (P/N: SOA8431000) is in almost new condition, comes with all needed hardware, and installation instructions. (All items shown in the photos are included.)
  • The included air filter is a washable and reusable, high flow, dry element AEM Air Filter (P/N:21-203DK), and is sized for an exact fit on this intake. The dry element filter needs no oil applied to the filter media after cleaning, thereby eliminating the possibility of air filter oil fouling the M.A.F. sensor but continues to filter out contaminates that could enter the intake tract.
  • The filter is large enough to supply a more than adequate amount of air to the engine.                     Filter Element Area ~89.51 in.2                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              To calculate the approximate surface area of filter needed for your specific engine use the following:

*Calculation is for Pleated Type Air Filter (Courtesy of K&N Filtration)

            Square inches of filter required = (lbs boost / 14.7) + 1 × CID × Max RPM / 20,839

Where:         lbs boost = Maximum Boost of Engine in psi

CID = Engines Cubic Inches Of Displacement

To convert Liters of displacement into CID: CID= Liters x 61.024

                                (For a 2.5 L engine;  CID= Liters x 61.024, CID= 2.5 x 61.024, CID= 152.56 in^3)

Max RPM = RPM where Engine Produces Maximum Power

  • The included heat shield (P/N: SOA8431030) is in perfect functioning form, with only slight signs of use. The edge trim is already fitted, comes with all needed hardware, and installation instructions. Designed to work in conjunction with the SPT Intake, the shield helps stem the flow of hot under hood air from reaching the air filter.
  • If you have any questions regarding the intake, heat shield, or air filter please feel free to contact me. I will return any questions as quickly as possible.
