Audi expands use of diesel in U.S. lineup
Mon, 19 Nov 2012Audi of America will begin offering 3.0-liter V6 diesel engines in the A8, A7 and A6 cars and the Q5 crossover beginning next year. The four TDI diesel-equipped models will make their debuts next week at the Los Angeles auto show. Audi already offers a diesel powerplant in the Q7 crossover but the 2013 model features an updated engine.
Return Of BRZ SE Reduces Entry-Level Price

Priced at £22,495, the addition of the SE model comes after the original price reduction of £2,500 for the SE Lux variant in the summer. Customers now have the choice of four BRZ models: SE manual £22,495 SE auto £23,995 SE Lux manual £23,995 SE Lux auto £25,495 SE specification is said to be generous, with keyless entry and push-button start, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, sports seats, limited slip differential and front, side, curtain and knee airbags all standard fit.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014The Hennessey Venom GT hit its top speed of 270.49 mph last week at the Kennedy Space Center, edging out the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport's previous 269.86 mph record. Hennessey and Bugatti have been battling for the top spot of "fastest production car in the world," and this time America came out on top. Hennessey attempted a record run in 2013, reaching a top speed of 265.7 mph before running out of room on the 2.9-mile-long runway at the Naval Air Station in California.
