Subaru 2.5 liter aircraft engine - 165 hp - 300 ft. lbs of torque with super charger.  I don't believe that the super charger adds to the horse power but it may a little.  The main use is to
maintain the horse power to a higher altitude.  I am told that the conversion was done by Eggenfellner.  The engine has 157 hrs.  total time.  During cruise flight, the propeller reduction
drive broke - the engine was shut down and the aircraft made a forced landing in a plowed field.  Two of the carbon fiber blades were broken off - the third survived.  Visible damage to
the engine includes the radiators, one maybe repairable, one probably should be replaced along with the oil cooler.  One ear was broken on the super charger - it has been repaired.  The starter
motor has one broken ear - not repaired - I would replace with new as they are inexpensive.  Now for the good part - all of the wiring harnesses are fully in tact, dual fuel pumps, computer,
switches, circuit breakers etc. are all in good shape.  Also have the damaged gear reduction box, probably not repairable  - let me know if you are interested in it.  I am told these conversions cost in the neighborhood of $20,000.
I will mount on pallet and crate for cost of materials only.
Shipping is your responsibility, however, I will help you load for free if you are picking up.
Additional pictures are available by email.  Because the engine was shut down prior to landing, there was no damage to the crank shaft or the basic engine.  All damage was confined
to prop, gear reduction and accessories.
Sale includes original engine logbook from RV9-A

RV9-A was a 2005 model - N362TS, s/n 90538

New Porsche 911 Carrera S quicker than a 997 GT3

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

New Porsche 911 - 13 seconds quicker round the Nurburgring than the old 911 Porsche had something of a spat recently with the Nissan GT-R, with both parties keen to show their car was the quickest. But Porsche has now got over that ‘I’ve got the biggest’ mentality, and are now keener to show how far their current crop of cars has come. Like the new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S.

2013 Mercedes E Class Saloon & Estate price from £32,400

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Mercedes has revealed that the 2013 E Class saloon will start at £32,400 and the E Class Estate from 34,310. The E63 AMG costs from £73,720. In fact, with everything from lights to bumpers, grills to interior and smoother haunches and a big crease line down the side, Mercedes could almost have claimed the new E Class to be a new car rather than just a mid-life facelift for the current E Class.
