Chrysler recalls Jeep Liberty for possible suspension problem

Chrysler is recalling more than 200,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs from the 2004-05 model years for a potential problem with the rear lower control arm. In states that use salt to melt ice on the roads, corrosion can cause the arm to fracture, which may lead to a crash. The vehicles in question were built between July 3, 2003, and July 14, 2005.

You Can Design America's Next Iconic Vehicle Michelin Challenge Design - the global transportation design competition in its ninth year - is looking for America's next iconic vehicle.  Submissions for the 2009 program will be accepted through April 16, 2008. The winning designs will be evaluated for their uniqueness, emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution by a jury of automotive design professionals and receive prominent display in the MCD exhibit at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. Council parking ‘spy car’ gets speeding ticket

A council-owned ‘spy car’ designed to catch people parking their vehicles unlawfully has been snapped travelling over the speed limit. Dorset police officers recorded the parking enforcement camera car travelling at 36mph in a 30mph area, handing the driver a £100 on-the-spot fine and three penalty points on their licence, according to the Bournemouth Echo.
