Subwoofer For Oe Center Console 01-06 Jeep Wrangler Tj on 2040-parts.com
Morton Grove, Illinois, US
I bought this new from Quadratec but never installed it in my 2004 TJ. I just opened the box to take a picture for this listing. I have the original shipping box, box insert, instructions and washers. This item is brand new! Here is a more detailed description:
This is the only available aftermarket replacement subwoofer speaker for 2001-06 Wranglers. Specifically designed for the factory subwoofer center console, this exact fit speaker is simple to install and requires no modifications. Since replacement woofers are not available through the dealership parts network, speaker replacement was not an option. The factory speaker features special electrical characteristics, dual voice coils, shallow mounting depth and a unique bolt pattern, making it impossible to cross reference to another speaker. Our replacement woofer is an exact fit to the original and features several important upgrades. Our speaker surrounds are made from durable rubber and not original foam which is the most common cause of speaker failure. Foam dries out and disintegrates over a shorter period of time causing low output with buzzing and popping. Our speaker cones feature poly-coated paper that outlasts uncoated factory paper that's susceptible to moisture damage. The kit comes with detailed instructions and is truly plug and play.
