Goodwood To Stage 73rd Members' Meeting In March 2015

THE GOODWOOD Road Racing Club (GRRC) has announced that the 73rd Members' Meeting will be held on the weekend of March 21-22, 2015 at Goodwood Motor Circuit. The Members' Meeting was revived this year for Members of the GRRC to continue the tradition of the 71 club motor sport events held at Goodwood from 1948-66, and played host to a weekend of dramatic motor racing. Star names including grand prix winner Jochen Mass, Le Mans 24 hours victors Emanuele Pirro and Jackie Oliver and current professionals Darren Turner and Andy Priaulx contested this year's event.

Last month, when we reported that Ferrari Racing Days are back at Silverstone in September, we mentioned that Ferrari North Europe were planning on grabbing back their record for the most Ferraris on parade. Land Rover are blocking sales of the Range Rover Evoque in an effort to stem the flow of cars out of the UK from ‘dishonest’ buyers Over the last few days we’ve had a number of emails from disgruntled readers who’ve been unable to collect their new Range Rover Evoque from their dealer, despite their Evoque being with the dealer and being paid for in full. It transpires that Land Rover are trying to control the supply of the Evoque to businesses and individuals who may sell it on or export it, but their weapon of choice seems to be a bit blunt. So far, after just a few phone calls, we’re aware of over 50 Evoques where Land Rover has either cancelled the order or refused to release the car.
