We’ve all seem abominations that should have been still-born, but business is business and tuners aren’t going to turn down business if it brings in the readies. So when Edo competition got a Russian client asking them to turn his five year old Aston Martin DB9 in to a DBS they were happy to oblige.

Bentley showed off its new V8 Continental GT in Munich on Wednesday, picking up its luxury coupe with a Skycrane helicopter and dropping it off at SkyLounge, an exclusive space for events that is perched between two buildings in the city's downtown. The launch party included 300 VIP guests. “A dramatic car got the debut we felt it deserved, and we took a little bit of our inspiration from Bentley's iconic ‘Winged B' emblem,” said Klaus Becker, general manager of Bentley Munich, who organized the helicopter lift.

2013 Subaru Forester revealed

The new Subaru Forester – a 2014 Forester for the US – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show this month. The Forester still looks like a Forester although it is a bit longer, wider and taller and gets a longer wheelbase which, say Subaru, means more space in the back seats and more room ion the boot. There are cosmetic tweaks with a crease running down the flanks under the window line, a new grill and bumpers, new alloys and a more slick feel to the looks. There’s extra toys too with a new Infotainment centre with smartphone integration, SatNav with reversing camera and a nice upmarket Harmon Kardon sound system.
