Kia's latest Carens compact MPV is set to debut on 27 September during the Paris motor show. The 2013 Carens, the work of Peter Schreyer and his design team, was conceived around the theme of ‘dynamic space' and features a cab-forward design with a longer wheelbase, lower roofline and chrome beltline accent. Jay Kay's LaFerrari to star at Salon Privé

CAR BUFFS will have a unique chance to get up close to some of the fastest, most exciting cars in the world today when the 2014 Salon Privé show arrives in London next month. Among the star cars at the Syon Park event will be Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay’s spearmint green LaFerrari; the only example anywhere in the world in that colour. All the cars present will be ultra-rare, ultra-exclusive hypercars with sub-three-second 0-62mph sprint times and top speeds well in excess of 200mph.

Peugeot BB1 concept

Peugeot BB1 concept was one of the more interesting surprises of the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Capable of accommodating four people in a package only 2.5 meters long, the all-electric BB1 concept seeks to reinvent the car in every respect: architecture, style, interior design, driveability and connectivity, bringing the environment very much to the fore. Conveying values of freedom and optimism, and even 'altruism', the BB1 concept offers the promise of a new driving experience, wrapped in an altogether fresh and intriguing package.
