These are original trunk panels as fitted to the Series III-V Alpines and all Tigers.  These are in remarkable original condition with stuffs and superficial marks as expected for the age of vehicle they were removed from.  For those that may be doing a gentle restoration with the goal of maintaining the original patina, smells and feel, these are your panels.  A little time, TLC, care with a texture repair kit and a fresh coat of vinyl paint, these will show very well.  Please pay within a reasonable time of the auctions end, and I will promptly ship.  I will combine shipping costs, but please wait for an invoice before making payment.

Saab EIB loan repaid by Swedish Government

Sweden has repaid Saab's EIB loan With Saab in administration, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has called in the Swedish Government guarantee on Saab’s loan. In the midst of Victor Muller’s efforts to restructure Saab, Saab received access to a European Investment Bank loan of €400 million, of which it accessed some €217 million. But just like any less than credit worthy individual Saab needed a guarantor for the loan, which they received from the Swedish Government.

The Trident Icini (pictured) is now on sale We saw the Trident Icini at Salon Prive in 2012, and although it looked like it was ready to roll out as the world’s fastest diesel sports car it’s taken two year more to be ready to take orders. But now it’s gone on sale. Three models are on sale – the Iceni, Iceni Magna (it’s a fastback) and Icini Venturer (a sort of estate car) all sporting a 6.6 litre diesel engine which, in standard spec, comes with 395bhp and 700lb/ft of torque.
