Sunbeam Alpine (Late) & Tiger

Steel 13" Wheel

Stock 13-inch steel wheel off of an Alpine parts car.  This is the later style with the extra dimples/notches at the lug area that was common to Tiger.  Should be correct for about '64 (Series IV) Alpine and newer (as well as all Tiger), but should work on an earlier Alpine too.

Stampings on front side are the "X" symbol and a faint date code of "66".  Part number should be 1214930, but I don't see any sign of it on this wheel.

Has been sandblasted, and has good bolt holes and tire contact areas (only minor surface rust and pitting).

There are some minor cosmetic nicks (see photos).

I have three more of these later style wheels available sandblasted at the moment (all with the X stampings, all with 66 date codes, and all with a faint portion of the "12149.." number sequence), and will offer as many as purchaser wants at the same price.

See my other items for more Tiger / Alpine parts.

Payment methods accepted are Paypal.

Buyer to pay $44.50 for Canada Post shipping to the Continental USA (this includes the 11% premium that eBay is now charging sellers on shipping costs). Canadian shipping will cost slightly less, and depend on province.

All other locations pay actual shipping rate, plus the same eBay fee on the shipping. I ship internationally, but international rates on a piece this size are going to be very expensive (generally 3-4 times the USA rate for European destinations, and 5-6 times the USA rate for Australia/New Zealand). Thanks for looking and good luck!

2011 World Car of the Year: Three finalists – one’s not a car

Sat, 05 Mar 2011

Nissan LEAF in a bubble at Geneva It looks like the WCOTY (World Car of the Year) is infected with the same set of vested interest as the European Car of the Year – they’ve voted the Nissan LEAF as one of the three finalists. By any sane measure the Nissan LEAF is not a car. It is at best a very good second mode of transport for those who don’t seek value and live in an urban area.

Fiat 500 options

Mon, 30 Jul 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 30 July 2007 04:09 Half a million option combinations on the Fiat 500? Tell me more! You can indeed spec the 500 to the skies, but apart from the odd body stripe, alloy wheel or paint colour, all the launch cars in the media have been mainstream, plain Jane spec.

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

Pictures of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS have leaked out on the Internet--and this street demon is expected to pack quite a punch. Displacement will grow to 4.0 liters, which helps to boost output to almost 500 hp. A version of this mill is employed in the competition version of this car as well.
