and strength in severe outdoor exposure but still give you a beautiful
appearance. The fabric solves the sagging, wetting and extreme heat
problems associated with acrylics and polyester fabrics. The Marine
One Plus fabric is made from solution dyed yarns and offers superior color
consistency, excellent light fast characteristics and is bleach
cleanable. Marine One Plus has a special finish which allows it to
protect against heavy rain and a light urethane coating on the back of the
fabric to improve this water repellency and add dimensional stability.
The fabric also has an anti-microbial component to prevent mildew growth
on the fabric.

New photos of Tesla Model S show more aggressive style
Mon, 06 Jun 2011Tesla dropped some new photos of the Model S Alpha sedan on us on Monday, and the car is looking more like a production vehicle every day. The shots show a Tesla Model S in a shade of black sporting a new front fascia with a lower, sharper, more aggressive look. It includes some vents for possible brake or engine cooling purposes, along with the same 10-spoke fan-blade wheels as the concept car.
Audi Snook at the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design
Tue, 05 Feb 2008German design student Tilmann Schlootz has been named one of the winners in the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design competition for his Audi Snook project. Selected for special exhibition at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit by a jury of professional designers and educators, the Snook scale model concept answered a design brief entitled: 'Sharing the Road - Big Safety/Small Vehicles', which called for enhanced real and perceived safety for smaller vehicles through design innovation. The visionary concept vehicle, which rides on a mono-sphere wheel, is heralded as a new vehicle category, implementing the principles of agility through instability learned from aerospace technology.
Ford CEO Alan Mulally to deliver keynote address at CES
Tue, 22 Sep 2009Ford is continuing to double-down on its Sync technology as a way to separate itself from competitors, and in that theme CEO Alan Mulally will again deliver a keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show in January in Las Vegas. He's expected to unveil the next round of Ford's Sync features at the show, which is a bellwether event for the technology industry. He also spoke at last year's show, and former GM CEO Rick Wagoner addressed it in 2008 as part of efforts by auto execs to showcase new innovations in their cars.
