There was everything from the mid-engined Lotus Esprit to the Rapide-challenging four-door supercar that was the Lotus Eterne. In amongst the supercar-fest – that included the aforementioned Lotus Eterne and new Lotus Esprit – was the Lotus Elite, a new Lotus Elan and a new new Lotus Elise, a total of five new Lotus cars designed to turn Lotus in to an East Anglian Aston Martin.

Vauxhall Ampera costs from £35k The European and UK version of the Chevy Volt – the Vauxhall Ampera – will cost from £34,995 when it arrives on UK roads in May 2012. Actually, this isn’t the first time we’ve had a price for the Vauxhall Ampera. Just over a year ago Vauxhall announced it would cost from £33,995 when it arrived in the UK in 2012.

The 2013 Audi Q7 will be much lighter than the current Q7 The Audi Q7 was rather late to the SUV party of the noughties, not hitting the road until 2005. That meant the Q7 had a bit of an edge when it launched, as it was newer than its competition, but it also means the Q7 is still soldiering on when its competition has already launched newer, shinier models. But Audi are working on fixing that, and fixing the biggest criticism of the Q7 in the process – its sheer weight and size.
