Volkswagen has announced the new Golf R hot hatch will make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show before going on UK sale in spring 2014. As the undisputed king of the VW Golf range, the Golf R packs 300hp and four-wheel drive, and is likely to be priced from just under £30,000. A study by Privilege shows that most drivers own an average of seven cars in their driving career, even though that figure includes four cars in the past decade.
