Sticking with the same model names for all future cars will simplify the range for consumers, reckons Peugeot: it's a demonstration of the fightback to rebuild the brand's image (think Ford ditching the 'Escort' badge and sticking with 'Focus' instead). Spyker signs deal with China's Hawtai Motor to raise funds for Saab
Tue, 03 May 2011Saab owner Spyker Cars on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with China's Hawtai Motor Group to form joint ventures for manufacturing, technology and distribution. The agreement will also provide $222 million (150 million euros) funding for Saab, which has been forced to halt production because it cannot pay suppliers' bills. Victor Muller, Spyker CEO and Saab chairman, said the partnership will allow Saab to enter the Chinese car market with a strong Chinese manufacturer.
Mopar has parts menu ready for the Dodge Dart

Chrysler's parts arm already has 150 aftermarket items ready for the company's new small car, with more on the way. “By itself, our new Dodge Dart will stand out from the crowd,” said Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group's service, parts and customer-care brand.
