Terrific kit using only high quality parts to put a manual transmission behind your Toyota/Lexus V8!!

This is an adapter plate to attach a Toyota R Series 5 Speed manual transmission to the 1UZFE Lexus V8 Powerhouse!  Fully CNC Machined from 1 3/4" thick billet 6061-T6510 aircraft grade aluminum plate. 

Kit includes all needed hardware, throw out bearing, and even the AN fittings for setting up the clutch line. We do not include the lines themselves, as each application will use different lines. You will also need a clutch/flywheel combo, the UZ auto bellhousing, and whichever other parts your chassis requires to make it work. As a quick recap: You will need the UZ V8 automatic bellhousing with this kit. You can use our "OEM style" or 11 lb chromoly flywheel with these kits if you plan to use a single disc clutch. Single disc clutches will need to be an SW20 MR-2 turbo.

We also have twin and triple disc QuarterMaster clutches (7.25" twin, 7.25" triple, and 8.5" twin disc) and flywheels. We include the OEM T56 throw out bearing with this kit. Our twin and triple disc kits use a billet RAM throw out bearing instead.

Mercedes-Benz F125 concept

Mercedes today revealed the F125 concept at the Frankfurt motor show. Claimed to represent ‘a radical reinterpretation of a sports sedan', the new car is also said to preview the next generation S-Class. Created in close collaboration between the technical research and development departments, as well as the Advanced Design Studios in Sindelfingen and Carlsbad, CA, Mercedes says the exterior design of the F125 is a further development of the company's current design strategy, with organic use of body surfaces, a cab-forward stance and short overhangs.

Perhaps feeling a bit of chutzpah after a wildly successful stock offering this week, Tesla is demonstrating on Thursday that it still has an eye toward product, revealing the updated Tesla Roadster. And it's available for order now. Called the Roadster 2.5, the car features minor enhancements, including a new front fascia with different diffuser vents (the change is actually apparent) and new rear diffuser.

Jaguar to be featured at Monterey Motorsports Reunion in August

Jaguar will take center stage in August as the featured marque at the 2011 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Jaguar's long history in competition and design will be highlighted and will include a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type, the 60th anniversary of Stirling Moss's victory in a Jaguar C-type at Le Mans and Phil Hill's XK120's 1950 win at the inaugural Pebble Beach Road Races. This will be the third time the British car company has been featured in Monterey, in addition to 1976 and 1992.
