I have owned this part for approximately 40 years.

Recently I was going through sealed boxes of my Midyear Corvette Parts. I came upon this C1 Corvette Valve Cover. I acquired this part in the early 1970’s, as it was given to me by a mechanic (a friend) who had it on a shelf in his gas station garage. The staggered hole design did not apply to my engine (L79), so I placed it in a box, with other parts, and it has been sitting there since. It wasn’t until I unpacked it, that I remembered having it; then I recalled its history.

Overall it appears to be in real nice condition. This Valve Cover has been untouched. It has never been cleaned, blasted, or other. The photos are taken on a Granite Counter Top. I did this to confirm the Valve Cover is perfectly straight / flat / and true.....which it is. I cleaned the oily varnish crud off the part # for the photos. I do not see any cracks, chips, or defects in the part. I do see that a prior owner splattered some gray paint on the part. The Valve Cover will require some serious cleaning. If you want an Original Un-Molested Valve Cover, to refinish as you see fit....this is it. Please see all the photos and use the zoom feature.

Always check your cars specification to confirm this part is correct for your engine.

I have a couple of these in stock. The boxes, which house the Breather Cap, may show typical or various signs of shelf wear, natural aging or factory production / handling marks, as it is a paper product.  However, when you open the box you will find your part, to truly be in, the real deal ‘NOS’ condition.
