FOUR GM FACTORY ORIGINAL, "SURVIVIOR", 1967 CORVETTE , 1969 CAMARO Z28 & 1968-1970 CHEVROLET PASSENGER CAR, STAINLESS STEEL, 4-CLIP, TRIM RINGS FOR 15" RALLYE WHEELS

This is a set of FOUR, original GM factory production, stainless steel trim rings, with four "S-shaped" mounting clips around the outer rim.  One clip is aligned with the valve stem opening, and the others are spaced at 90 degree intervals.  These are First Design rings, with the mounting clips inserted between a double layer metal band and tac (spot) welded at each end.

These rings are very nice originals with nice original factory finish.   One has a tiny nick on the outside of the outer face; one has a tiny nick on the inside of the outer face; one has a small, faint crease in the inner face;  a couple have faint scuffing on the outer face; none of them have any curb rash, major scratches or dents.   Overall these are excellent for survivor type judging, and are almost nice enough for flight judging.

Note that the mounting clips and clip rings have been cleaned.  Clips are black finish as factory.  All are tight.  The insides of all the rings are very clean.

I usually have original used survivor, restored original, and NOS GM center caps (flat caps and derby caps) listed as other auction or buy it now items.

These rings can be returned for exchange of full refund if they do not meet you specifications.

Trim Ring Dimensions: 16 5/8 inches maximum diameter by 2 3/8 inches vertical depth; closed, oval shaped valve stem opening.

These trim rings are OEM equipment, and would have been installed on the following GM rallye wheels (be sure to check your application and wheel codes):

1967 CORVETTE rallye wheel, 15x6" (B, DC & DG Codes); all engine options

1969 CAMARO Z28 rallye wheel, 15x7" (AD Code); first design ring

1968-early 1969 PASSENGER (IMPALA) rallye wheel, 15X6" (YS Code)

Also might be correct for 1970-1972 Monte Carlo rallye wheel, 15x7" (not sure - don't have wheel code info on this)

Prompt, flat rate domestic shipping by UPS Ground only within the "Lower 48 States."  Insuranceand tracking information are included.  Foreign shipping is by USPS Priority Mail International and is based on buyers location.  Insurance is required.  Other shipping options are available.  Thanks, Rick Miller

Note: We also restore original GM trim rings (1967 and 1968-1982) to show/judging standards (NCRS, Bloomington, Camaro Nationals, etc.), and have been doing these rings for almost 20 years (over 400 sets since 2004); most for NCRS flight judging, Bloomington judging and other top level shows.  We can restore your original cores and provide a factory finish or a show finish.    See the NCRS Restorer, Summer 2007, Vol. 34, Number 1, for my article on Trim Rings and their application on Corvettes.  I also have a word ad in most issues of the bi-monthly NCRS Driveline.

I've been a Corvette owner since 1965, have been buying and selling top quality Corvette parts since the early 1970s, and have been a member of the NCRS since 1987 (Member # 12282).

SRT Viper combines Time Attack package with Anodized Carbon look

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

SRT has just debuted a very special Viper at the New York auto show, combining the Time Attack Group with the exclusive Anodized Carbon Special Edition package. Just 50 examples of the of the SRT Viper Anodized Carbon Special Edition package will be made, with just 10 models carrying the Time Attack Group package. Like a number of special editions from Chrysler, this model emerged due to customer demand, with Chrysler taking the functional chassis and aerodynamic parts from the Viper Time Attack Special Edition and making them available in the GTS price class.

Want to be a Racing Driver? Fiat’s Abarth could have the answer

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

Win the chance to be a racing driver with Abarth It’s every boy’s dream to be a racing driver and get behind the wheel of a race car for real, and Abarth - the go-faster bit of Fiat – may just be able to give you a leg-up in the right direction. Abarth are running a competition to find new racing drivers, with the winners of the competition being taken off to a 10-day camp to be assessed by motorsport coaches and helped by race car instructors. If you want to take part you’ll need to be over 18, not a professional driver already and willing to jump through a few hoops to get the chance to win a place at camp, and ultimately take part in a proper race at Monza.

Chrysler is set to invest $500 million in Toledo Jeep assembly plant

Wed, 16 Nov 2011

Chrysler Group plans to invest $500 million in its Toledo North Assembly Plant and hire a second shift of workers over the next year to build a new Fiat-based SUV for Jeep, as well as other vehicles. "This plant has been chosen to build the future Jeep SUV to replace the current Jeep Liberty that will be exported to markets all over the world," CEO Sergio Marchionne said at the plant Wednesday. "Jeep is at the heart of our plans to internationalize Chrysler, a process which is being accelerated by Chrysler's access to Fiat's distribution capabilities in Europe and Latin America." Toledo North is Chrysler's only assembly plant with only one shift of workers.
