Taewan Kim has been promoted to Vice President of Design at GM Daewoo. Having started his career in International Automotive Design in the United Kingdom in 1991, Kim was involved in designing various Japanese and European automobiles, including British Airway's First Class seat design. From 1995, he served as Chief Exterior Designer at the former Daewoo Motor Company, leading the exterior design of the Magnus, Lacetti, Kalos and Matiz.

This is (really) the new BMW Z4 for 2013. Granted, the tweaked head- and tail-lights, and new side vent modelled on the BMW 4-series are subtle alterations at best. It's what's under the bonnet is of more interest, if you've always fancied one of BMW's folding hard-top sports cars on your driveway.

Nissan to show GT-R crossover in Sao Paulo?

Nissan has teased a concept car to be unveiled later this month at the Sao Paulo motor show in Brazil with two renders. It's hard to tell what format the car is, but these obscured images could show a GT-R-branded coupe/SUV crossover designed specifically for the Brazilian market. This would make sense in a market where rugged SUVs with high ground clearance for sub-standard roads are so commonplace.
