BMW Zagato Coupe revealed at Villa D’Este
Fri, 25 May 2012BMW Zagato Coupe The BMW Zagato Coupe – a one-off concept BMW designed by Zagato – has been revealed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Whilst we’re busy keeping a watchful eye out for the arrival of the new Aston Martin DBS at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este this weekend, up pops a one-off concept from event sponsors BMW – the BMW Zagato Coupe. Looking like a BMW Z4 with Italian panache in spades (which is what we expect it to be under the skin – BMW aren’t saying) it looks like Aston Martin will have extra competition in the Concept Car category this weekend from BMW with the Zagato Coupe.
Lexus CT200h (2011): UK prices, spec announced
Fri, 29 Oct 2010Lexus has revealed prices for its new CT200h - and they're pretty punchy. The base CT200h clocks in at £23,485, rising to a startling £30,635 for the SE-L Premier. Lexus says it's the first sporty hybrid, but can the new CT really woo drivers out of their cheaper Audis and BMWs? The CT200h is aimed squarely at the A3 and 1-series, but comes with just one drivetrain for now. The Lexus uses Prius hardware, so there's a 1.8-litre petrol mated to an electric motor to produce 134bhp - enough for the 1420kg CT200h to hit 62mph in 10.3sec.
Smart ForTwo Brabus
Fri, 09 Mar 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 09 March 2007 11:31 Smart ForTwo Brabus: the lowdown With a third more power than the outgoing Brabus, the new ForTwo looks set to be quite a pocket rocket. The newcomer, unveiled at Geneva, packs a punchy 98bhp and has a sprightly 780kg to carry around, so Smart is promising warm-hatch performance for the first time in a ForTwo. Okay, so it won't trouble the GTI brigade, but the new Brabus will crack 62mph in 9.9sec and is so fast they've had to limit it to 155.
