2012 Bentley Continental GTC raises £240k for Children in Need The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC was only revealed at Frankfurt in September, and is currently getting its North American debut in L.A.  But Bentley have already sold one to a generous UK buyer who stumped up £240k at a charity auction last night in aid of BBC Children in Need. OnStar is not for sale, and General Motors Co. is working to fine-tune the well-known service and position it for the future, a top executive said on Tuesday. Despite the recent jettisoning of several GM brands, OnStar is safe and officials are optimistic as it prepares to expand in December with a launch in China.

Not only is the Alpina B5 the only really quick 5 series on the market now, it will also be a lot less ubiquitous in the long run than BMW’s own M5. A lot to be said for that.
