Up for bid is a used 2hp Suzuki outboard cylinder head. The color of the paint tells me it's mid to late 80's. Suzuki went to charcoal in 1989. Head seems to be in good shape. If you were to put this cylinder head in a mild solution of Muriatic acid and water it will help remove whatever salt is left in the cooling chamber shown in the 2nd picture. The chamber where the water flows is still round and hasn't been eaten away like most of these are for there age. This cylinder head can be surfaced and used the way it is. You just need to make sure the surface is flat before installing it on your motor. Put it on a surface plate and figure eight it on a piece of wet dry sand paper and it shouldn't take much to make sure it's flat. Sold in as is condition. The price is right for this auction. What you see in the picture is what you will receive. May work on many models of the 2hp motor so please check with your local dealer for your application before placing a bid on this item. I have a lot of Suzuki 2hp parts so if you are looking for something please let me know and I will try to help. Make sure it is the correct prop for your motor. If your not sure ask questions please. I will try to find out whatever it is that you need to know about the prop. Check out my feedback it speaks for itself. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Jaguar XE is the new small Jaguar: Geneva Motor Show (video)

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

First photo of the Jaguar XE Jaguar has revealed this morning that its new smaller Saloon will be the Jaguar XE, and that its new range of engines will be the Ingenium. Beyond that, we don’t get a lot more than we already know. Heading for an arrival in 2015, the Jaguar XE (we always doubted the commonly accepted Jaguar XS moniker) will be the first car in its segment to have an aluminium monocoque and, say Jaguar, is set to be the most advanced and efficient sports saloon in its sector and will be the first production Jaguar using the new aluminium architecture used for the Jaguar C-X17 SUV Concept.

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

DBR-Hicom – owners of Proton and Lotus – have rejected an offer for Lotus and are intent on nursing it back to health. The rumours surrounding the fate of Lotus - especially after the Dany Bahar saga – have been rumbling around the car world for a long time. Will DRB-Hicom – who bought Proton, owners of Lotus, in 2011 – cut and run, or will they see Lotus as a possible jewel in their crown to be nursed back to health?
