Up for bid is a used 2hp Suzuki outboard cylinder head. The color of the paint tells me it's mid to late 80's. Suzuki went to charcoal in 1989. Head seems to be in good shape. If you were to put this cylinder head in a mild solution of Muriatic acid and water it will help remove whatever salt is left in the cooling chamber shown in the 2nd picture. The chamber where the water flows is still round and hasn't been eaten away like most of these are for there age. This cylinder head can be surfaced and used the way it is. You just need to make sure the surface is flat before installing it on your motor. Put it on a surface plate and figure eight it on a piece of wet dry sand paper and it shouldn't take much to make sure it's flat. Sold in as is condition. The price is right for this auction. What you see in the picture is what you will receive. May work on many models of the 2hp motor so please check with your local dealer for your application before placing a bid on this item.
