Nissan Almera
Thu, 30 Aug 2012The new Nissan Almera was launched yesterday at the 2012 Moscow auto show, designed specifically for the Russian market. The design team sought to combine contemporary Nissan design cues with more classic features on this 4,656mm-long five-seat sedan. The Almera has a long wheelbase of 2,700mm while the luggage area is said to be disguised by the sweep of the roofline and rear window that flows into the trunk lid.

It will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show next month, and UK sales start in the autumn. An event to mark the 25th anniversary of the MX-5 will be held in Barcelona, Spain on 3-4 September - and the new MX-5 will be shown to the world for the first time. The new MX-5 is a major launch for Mazda; the car has been a runaway hit since launch in 1989 and now mops up a large portion of two-seat roadster sales.
