This Slipstreamer "Classic" series touring windshield is one of the best on the market for providing full wind, bug and debris protection. All of it's mounting hardware is made of chrome plated steel. The hardware is adjustable which allows the rake/angle of this shield to vary anywhere in-between straight up to as far back as the angle of the fork tubes. This shield is constructed of Dupont® engineered Lucite® acrylic which is a high quality windshield material. Lucite is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market and it is one of the most optically clear materials available as well. Lucite is more optically clear than hard-coated Lexan® windshields are. Lucite resists yellowing far better than most of the other windshield materials available. Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hard-coating. Hard-coated shields deteriorate rather quickly in comparison to Lucite which makes a Lucite shield a much wiser long term investment. The windshield we are selling here is a FIRST LINE PRODUCT offered at a GREATLY REDUCED PRICE. This windshield is new in the original box. *LIGHT BAR / PASSING LAMP COMPATIBILITY* Lightbars or Passing Lamps as they are sometimes called can sometimes lead to complications when installing a fork mounted windshield in conjunction with it. We find this windshield to be compatible with most Show Chrome™ and National Cycle® brand lightbars. We find when installing these onto bikes with lightbars that are made by Cobra®, you will likely need a Cobra lightbar relocation kit. There are many lightbars on the market that we are not familiar with so you will need to consult the manufacturer of your lightbar for compatibility information with fork mounted windshields such as this Slipstreamer SS30. NOTE... People often get confused by the
product terminologies *windshield &
windscreen*. The fact of the
matter is they are two names for the exact same product.

Vauxhall Insignia VXR (2009): first official photos
Wed, 15 Apr 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 April 2009 00:01 Yesterday we brought you spy video footage of the new Vauxhall Insignia VXR. Today we have the first official photographs of Luton’s new cut-price M3 four-door. Vauxhall will have the sporting family car segment almost to itself – Ford no longer builds a Mondeo ST and most European rivals no longer bother with high-horspower saloons (excepting VW’s equally crazed Passat R36).
Ford Australia designs Mad Max concepts
Mon, 11 Jul 2011With the iconic road movie ‘Mad Max' set to reappear on the silver screen next year, the Australian International Motor Show played host to two Ford concepts aiming to be the next 'Interceptor'. Built in response to a brief from Top Gear Australia, Ford Australia's Research Centre employees created a variety of machines for Max. The entries, however, were whittled down to those from Nima Nourian and Simon Brook.
