This carb was pulled off a 2007 Suzuki DR650 with 2,700 miles. There was nothing wrong with the carb or the bike... I just did the conversion to the Keihin FCR MX carb, so I no longer need the stock one.


IMPORTANT NOTE: This carb does NOT include the choke plunger. On my DR, the choke is remotely operated, and it was a direct screw-in for the new FCR carb that I installed. Thus, you will either need to use your existing choke plunger (assuming you're buying this for a DR650) or purchase one (just search eBay for "mikuni choke plunger").

This carb was perfectly jetted for my DR650 at 4,000 feet elevation with an aftermarket pipe and the popular airbox modification. Thus, the jetting is on the rich side for a stock DR650. However, the stock jets are also included in this auction, as pictured. I am also including 2 extra main jets (one size smaller and one size larger) that should help you adjust to any elevation differences you might have in your area (for instance, using 1 size smaller at higher elevations).

Australian F1 Grand Prix Qualifying: Postponed until Sunday by heavy rain

Final qualifying for the 2013 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne has been postponed until Sunday by torrential rain and poor light. The 2013 Australian Grand Prix is the opening event for the new F1 season, but the new season is off to a difficult start after torrential rain in Melbourne has forced the postponement of qualifying until Sunday morning – just before the race itself is due to start. Race Director Charlie Whiting called time on qualifying this morning after just the first knockout round when the heavy rain – and fading light – made it too dangerous to continue the knockout session.

eBay offers free vehicle-history reports

All vehicles built since the 1981 model year listed for sale on eBay now include vehicle history reports from Experian Automotive at no cost to vehicle buyers or sellers. Starting Wednesday, the reports are available on all vehicles sold in eBay auction and classified formats, as well as for vehicles sold by dealers or by private parties, said Nicolas Franchet, senior director of U.S. vehicles at eBay Motors.

But 4x4s can claim at least one advantage over smaller cars; they are among the least likely types of car to be stolen. According to the latest Home Office Car Theft Index, just four in every thousand 4x4s and people carriers in Britain were stolen in 2006, compared to seven for Fiesta and Astra-sized cars.
