This is the rear brake caliper and stabilizer off of a 1981 GS850GL I purchased as a project bike. The wiring harness was fried on it when I purchased the bike and I have decided that the bike is beyond the point of repair. Therefore I am selling the parts off of it that are still in good usable shape.

The caliper is in fair shape. It was working when I removed it from the bike, HOWEVER I would recommend rebuilding it as only one of the pistons seemed to be moving. It has normal wear cosmetically.

All my parts are sold AS IS. Please feel free to contact me with any questions before purchasing. Also if there is anything you are looking for off of this bike, please contact me so I can list if for you. Thanks!

Chrysler, CAW reach tentative contract deal

Fri, 24 Apr 2009

The Canadian Auto Workers tentatively agreed tonight to new concessions that will save the struggling automaker $240 million annually and help the carmaker to try to avoid a bankruptcy filing, CAW President Ken Lewenza said at a news conference. In exchange, the CAW got Chrysler and potential partner Fiat SpA to agree to keep its two Chrysler assembly plants open even if bankruptcy is unavoidable, Lewenza said. General Motors and Ford Motor Co., which signed new CAW agreements earlier, have indicated their desire to get the same concessions as those negotiated with Chrysler, Lewenza said.
