2014 Land Rover LR4 goes supercharged V6, stop/start tech
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Land Rover revealed the details of the 2014 Discovery on Tuesday. In the States we know the big SUV as the Land Rover LR4. A supercharged 3.0-liter V6 will replace the 5.0-liter V8 and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission will replace the old six-speed.

The new luxury coupe is almost unchanged from the Converj Concept - unveiled at the 2009 NAIAS - upon which it is based and features Cadillac's signature vertical headlamps and rear lamps. The flush fascia and grille – with active shutters behind the grille opening – combined with tapered fascia corners and a raked windshield mean that drag is reduced to 0.305.
Nissan sketches future compact car plans

The carmaker released few specifics, but the vehicle will be sold in more than 150 countries and is set to launch first in Thailand in March 2010. The car will qualify as Thailand's first “eco-car,” which is a government policy to help promote energy-efficient vehicles.
