The Katana was laid down on the left side resulting in some road rash on the left side main upper fairing as shown in those photos. Only a few parts on the bike was actually broken such as the left front directional blinker turn signal and 2 mounts on back of the head light housing which were repaired and the lights work excellent. The gas fuel tank is in excellent condition with 1 little pin head size paint chip which was too small to photograph. Engine components, transmission, carburetors, forks, wheel, tires, drive components, etc were NOT damaged. Expect some wear & tear from use and age - the bike was not NEW!

Pricing is about 1/3 or less of new.

Taxi To The Stars To Shine At Auction

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

CLASSIC car auctioneer, Historics at Brooklands, will be selling a very special London taxi at the end of November. This particular example of a 1935 12/4 Austin Taxi is no ordinary cab though, having transported the rich and famous as part of its role as gust transport for boutique hotel, Blakes, in London’s South Kensington. Plucked from its more humble street life in the 70’s by the hotel’s creator - film star and actress turned hotelier and interior designer - Anouska Hempel (now Lady Weinberg) - the 1935 Austin Taxi Low Loading became the exclusive hotel transport soon after the hotel’s opening, for Blakes’s many famous guests including Ali McGraw, Neil Diamond, Robert Redford, Bob Dylan and Jane Russell.

Maybach Coupe for sale: First Maybach Cruiserio Coupe up for grabs

Sun, 26 Dec 2010

Maybach Cruiserio Coupe - up For Sale We’ve run a couple of stories about a coupe version of the Maybach 57S this year, starting with the rather surprising news that a Maybach Coupe was coming - especially as it wasn’t going to be the spectacular Exelero Coupe – and culminating in the confirmation that German company Xenatec were building 100 Maybach Coupes. What I don’t think we knew at the time was that the whole Maybach Coupe plan was being funded by Saudi-based Auto Kingdom, which probably explains quite a lot. The Maybach has not been an explosive success since it launched – it’s been completely eclipsed by the far superior Rolls Royce Phantom – but its best market has probably been the Middle East, so Auto kingdom are probably pretty scure in the knowledge they can shift one or two of the Maybach Coupes on their home turf.
