Public service announcement: Cars and shaving don't mix
Mon, 02 May 2011Consider this a cautionary tale: Take care of your personal grooming before you get behind the wheel. Infiniti Emerg-E: Geneva 2012
Tue, 06 Mar 2012Infiniti Emerg-E arrives at Geneva The Infiniti Emerg-E has been revealed at Geneva 2012 with 402bhp from a pair of electric motors and a range-extender engine. The Infiniti Emerg-E, which has been revealed today at the Geneva Motor Show, looks to be a properly promising supercar from Infiniti, and utilises the expensive range-extender technology to produce a stunning-looking car with proper performance potential. Power for the Emerg-E comes from a pair of electric motors powering the back wheels with a combined output of 402bhp and is capable, say Infiniti, of up to 300 miles between charge thanks to its 1.2 litre 3-pot range extending engine (which comes from Lotus) and up to 30 miles on EV power.
Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE (2010) Review & Road Test part 2
Sun, 25 Apr 2010Part 2 of our review of the 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Land Rover has had a thorough play with their range for 2010, a big part of which has been shoehorning in the latest lumps from Jaguar. The Range Rover Sport now comes with the 5.0 litre S/C engine from the XFR and the rather wheezy 2.7 litre diesel is swapped for the much livelier 3.0 litre from the XF. Not the 3.0 litre from the XF diesel S, mind you – that would have trampled all over the 3.6 TDV8 – but the slightly more pedestrian version with 242bhp.
