Yesterday we had the first leaked photos of the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe and, as expected, Mercedes has done the decent thing and revealed their new baby CLS officially this morning, ahead of a Beijing Motor Show. It seems that the Concept Style Coupe is the car that will make an appearance at Los Angeles Debut of Transmission LA this week before scooting off to the Beijing Motor Show for a proper public debut.

London has recently hosted 100% Design, the city's response to the Milan Furniture Show that currently dominates the product design calendar. Just as the Italians have spread their show over the city, Londoners have begun to do the same, introducing 100% East in the arty East End, and using more floorspace at Earls Court, the exhibition centre that formerly hosted the British Motor Show. 100% Design is complemented at Earls Court by 100% Detail and 100% Material.

Car spending 'more than holidays'

NEARLY HALF of drivers in the UK spend more disposable income on their car than anything else, according to a survey. Spending on cars (47%) easily outweighs the amount spent on holidays (21%) and socialising with friends (13%), the poll from Halfords Autocentres showed. But the survey also found that 10% of drivers were cutting back on car maintenance to save money.
