Sun, 14 Mar 2010The BMW 5 Series Touring 2010-2011 - launches in September in the UK After yesterday’s leak of photos of the 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring, we did say BMW would probably get their act together and do the official release this weekend. BMW obviously concur as we had a 5 Series Touring photo gallery, video and a pile of bumph drop in last night.
Aston Martin dealer toasts record March
Wed, 02 Apr 2014ASTON MARTIN Works is raising a glass this month after a record March that saw its best monthly sales results yet. The special showroom for the iconic British firm saw the extreme V12 Vantage S and the extremely beautiful Vanquish Volante lead the way in sales, with well-to-do buyers racing to place orders for the earliest deliveries of the two newest Astons. Based at the historic home of Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, Aston Martin Works has for almost 60 years been home to either the factory or, more recently, the brand’s specialist heritage, restoration and servicing operations.
Vauxhall – Ellesmere Port jobs safe
Thu, 26 Nov 2009Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port Plant will have no job losses It looks like the bulk of the savings that GM need to make in Vauxhall/Opel are going to fall outside the UK, with the news that there will be no job cuts at the Astra-making Ellesmere Port plant and around 340 job losses at Luton. Which is about as good as the news was ever likely to be for Vauxhall workers in the UK. Whatever the outcome of the GM/Magna deal it always seemed likely that Ellesmere Port would be relatively unscathed.
